1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using any services provided by Hidden Door ("the Agency"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These Terms apply to all clients, including individuals, businesses and government entities.

2. Scope of services

Hidden Door is a private investigation agency providing services such as background checks, surveillance, digital forensics, asset tracing, due diligence and other investigative solutions. The specific scope, deliverables and fees for each case are detailed in a separate written engagement agreement.

3. Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate, lawful and complete information necessary for the investigation, and are responsible for ensuring that their requests do not violate any applicable law. Failure to provide accurate information, or to comply with legal requirements, may result in termination of services without refund.

4. Confidentiality & data protection

Hidden Door treats all client information, case details and sensitive data as strictly confidential, and implements security measures to protect it. Information will not be disclosed to third parties without your written consent, except as required by law or court order.

5. Intellectual property

All materials, reports and deliverables provided by Hidden Door remain the intellectual property of the Agency unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may use deliverables solely for their intended purpose and may not reproduce, distribute or disclose them without prior written authorisation.

6. Limitation of liability

Hidden Door exercises due professional care in all investigations. The Agency does not guarantee any specific outcome or result. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

7. Fees & payments

All fees are due as set out in the engagement agreement. Work commences only after receipt of the agreed advance. For refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy.

8. Compliance & ethics

Hidden Door operates strictly within the bounds of applicable law and professional ethical standards. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate any case involving illegal activity or unethical conduct.

9. Amendments

Hidden Door may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to our services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam, India.
